Each Bagavond Bag is handcrafted from recycled materials, including
leather, fur, and vintage scarves. As a result, each Bag is unique, as the
exact mix of materials can never be duplicated. Each Bagavond Bag is
meticulously constructed to be functional and fashionable and unite your
individuality and ethics.
Our objective is to provide stylish and unique bags and accessories in a
responsible manner. We aim to make responsibility fashionable.
All items are handmade by me in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. I create the
pattern, cut and sew each and every item in my shop.
Recycling is a very important part of my design philosophy. I'm committed
to using no new animal products so all of the leather and fur I use has lived
a previous life as another garment, whether it be a coat, skirt, pair of pants
or belt. I also love the beautiful and bold prints of ladies' vintage scarves
and enjoy creating functional and fashionable handbags with them. Of
course, I do use new products in my designs, including all zippers, hardware
and linings.
